I am a poet, memoir writer, and lover of strong feelings.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, I started performing poetry at open mics in the late 90’s to mend heartbreak. In 2000, I hosted Spent Sundays a weekly open mic at Psychobabble Coffee Shop (now Bru Coffeebar) in Los Feliz.

While living in New York City, I continued to perform and feature at open mics around the city. I also created and hosted The Michelle Bonfils Show, a YouTube program that presented poetry and showcased established and up-and-coming artists in NYC.

In 2021, I moved to Paris for 3 months to finish my first collection of poetry entitled, Live This Feeling. You can purchase it in the shop or wherever books are sold.
